Manchester United should be out of sight against Sheffield United on their return to Old Trafford.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side have been electric going forward, creating countless chances through the thriving midfield pairing of Paul Pogba and Marcus Rashford.
The Reds took the lead in the opening exchanges thanks to Anthony Martial, who converted a wicked cross from Marcus Rashford to score his 17th goal of the season.
And Rashford should be on the scoresheet himself in the first-half after fluffing two great opportunities in front of goal.
The English forward, deservedly commended for his inspirational work during the coronavirus pandemic, first missed an open goal when fed through by Martial.
He then linked up brilliantly with Pogba who played a delightful chipped-pass through, which he failed to make contact with as he attempted a first-time volley.
United are showing hugely promising signs going forward but must now be clinical in front of goal.
