Photos: Pogba, Pereira & Lindelof train at local cricket club ahead of potential PL return

Paul Pogba and some of his Manchester United team-mates stepped up their preparations ahead of the attempted return of Premier League football.

According to the Daily Mail, a United trio of Paul Pogba, Andreas Pereira and Victor Lindelof took part in a training session at a local cricket club in Cheshire to work on their physical fitness, dribbling and passing. The report adds that Anthony Martial trained on Tuesday but was nowhere to be seen today.

Hopefully for Pogba this is a sign of things to come because we could really do with the France World Cup-winner back in the squad for the remaining fixtures. It would give Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side a massive boost in achieving their top four objective this season.

The Mail add the earliest date for resumption of full training for clubs is June 1, which doesn’t give them much time to reach full fitness as the Premier League hopes to return on June 12 or 19.
