Manchester United have been handed a possible boost in their reported chase of Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly.
The 28-year-old Senegalese international is regarded as one of the best centre-backs across Europe and is being coveted by a number of elite clubs this summer.
And according to Le10Sport, as sourced by the Sun, Koulibaly is not keen on a proposed move to Paris Saint-Germain. Instead, it is claimed that he would prefer a move to England to play in the Premier League.
The Sun’s report suggests United are desperate to bolster their central defensive options and Koulibaly is probably the best available.
As reported by Il Mattino , Koulibaly has told president Aurelio De Laurentiis that he wants to end his six-year stay at the club this summer.

But United would face serious competition if they were to focus their attention on the imposing defender. It is claimed Manchester City are also targeting the player that is rated at a huge £90m.
While Koulibaly is a world-class player that could prove to be the perfect partner for captain Harry Maguire, we feel that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has more pressing matters to deal with than central defence in the summer transfer window.
Koulibaly would represent a luxury signing but United need to immediately prioritise the right-wing and striker position with several adequate options to play alongside Maguire already at the club.
