Video: David Beckham sees similarity in Solskjaer and Sir Alex Ferguson management style

David Beckham is backing Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to succeed at Manchester United, claiming he is doing a ‘good job’ as manager.

As with any United boss, Solskjaer has been under huge pressure to bring success back to Old Trafford, but is working hard on rebuilding this below par squad.

There are huge doubts whether a man of Solskjaer’s inexperience can bring the club back to the ‘glory days’ of domestic triumphs.

But the club is certainly heading in the right direction with signings such as Bruno Fernandes, even if it is frustrating as a fan to see how long this rebuilding process is taking.

United great Beckham, who is a former teammate of Solskjaer, believes the Norwegian is using similar managerial traits to Sir Alex Ferguson, arguably the greatest manager of all time.

Solskjaer was always going to use some of Sir Alex’s principles in his own management style and the current United boss does not criticise his players in the media, and always gives a positive outlook on his squad.
