Report: Manchester United tracking €13m-rated Arsenal starlet

Manchester United are reportedly monitoring Arsenal youngster Bukayo Saka.

Currently valued at €13m via TransferMarkt, the 18-year-old has made 24 appearances for the Gunners this season so far, scoring three goals while registering six assists. Now he is being monitored by the Red Devils, managed by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who is always on the lookout for young talent.

According to the Daily Mail, United are one of three big clubs keeping tabs on Saka. The other two clubs are Liverpool and Bayern Munich.

The report also notes that Arsenal are trying to tie him down to a new long-term contract and that he currently earns £3,000. His next deal, wherever it may be, will see Saka get a significant rise.

Although the Arsenal squad is mediocre at best, Saka is among the finest young talents at the club and has impressed in the first-team. There’s no way Arsenal will like the idea of losing him to a domestic rival.

He can play at both left-back and as a left-winger which isn’t exactly an area United need to strengthen in by signing Saka. There’s Brandon Williams already at left-back and he’s not going to push Marcus Rashford out of the team once he returns from injury.

Still, this is a talented prospect for an 18-year-old and United are in the market for young stars.
