The news Manchester United fans had been hoping for as the lineups were announced this afternoon…
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has named Bruno Fernandes in his starting eleven to face Wolves at Old Trafford.
The Portugal midfielder was unveiled as a United player on Thursday and has took part in one full training session with the first-team.

Many fans on social media were unsure whether Fernandes would start in today’s game, but the 25-year-old is clearly match-fit and ready after playing for Sporting Lisbon in his farewell fixture on Monday evening.
Solskjaer’s hand was forced slightly in the sense that Nemanja Matic was suspended in midweek for his red card at the Etihad against Manchester City.
But Bruno is a player of great quality on the ball and should provide some creativity against a stubborn Wolves defence.
He starts alongside Fred and Andreas Pereira in midfield; we will have to wait to find out who plays in the most advanced role but we hope it will be the new signing.
See some reaction to the news that Bruno is starting against Nuno Espirito Santo’s side:
Fernandes has been given Scholes’ shirt, been compared to Scholes by Solskjaer and now handed full debut two days after arriving. No pressure then #mufc https://t.co/nM9L1TyQMq

Bruno Fernandes starts!
Is he playing CAM or in the 8 role?
Either way, buzzing to see him play. #mufc pic.twitter.com/aDonc03x7x

By the looks of it, we're going with a Fred-Andreas pivot with Bruno as a 10 and Mata on the RW. It would be stupid to deploy Bruno deeper, let him thrive on his best position and let him get us the W.

#MUFC 11
BRUNO starts! If it was ever in doubt with the injury list.
Greenwood should be starting on the RW with James on the LW, Mata & Pereira shouldn't see the 1st team & Williams should always start ahead of Lazy Shaw #TRA🇾🇪 #BusbyBabes🙏🏼 pic.twitter.com/gNyPY82XVF— MulleeTheManc (@MulleeTheManc) February 1, 2020
Really hope Bruno Fernandes isn't playing deep. Don't Pogba him ffs.

Glad to see Bruno starting but a little surprised he’s playing next to Fred. With the same players, I probably would’ve put him at 10 and put Mata off the right and Andreas next to Fred.

I’m normally quite optimistic but I reckon Wolves will be properly up for this one. Wouldn’t surprise me if they won comfortably. Hoping Utd come out flying due to the excitement of Bruno joining. Wolves will want to spoil that. They are also at full strength #mufc
