Ole Gunnar Solskjaer spoke to Sky Sports after Manchester United’s 2-0 defeat against Liverpool.
Man Utd were second best in every department at Anfield and we can’t complain too much over the result. The performance, however, just wasn’t good enough and we didn’t create enough chances in the final third.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer argues that we played against the most complete side in the Premier League, but our performance was better than it was at Anfield last season.
There was a sense of encouragement from Solskjaer after watching his team today, despite losing to our arch rivals Liverpool, and maybe he feels this is our level right now.
We know that the squad requires a lot of work, but this club is rotten to the core due to bad ownership, and it’s a hole I don’t think we are getting out of anytime soon.
Solskjaer may have to dip into the transfer market following the news on Marcus Rashford’s injury.

“They’re the most direct team in the league. They do put teams under pressure. Play them long balls, second balls, corners.”
