Ashley Young is set to leave Manchester United if reports are to be believed.
Considered a veteran at Old Trafford these days, the 34-year-old will undergo his medicals in the coming days ahead of a switch to Inter Milan, joining Antonio Conte’s side which looks set to challenge Juventus for the Serie A title.
It had been claimed by James Ducker of the Telegraph that Young’s hopes of joining Inter this month suffered a setback as the Italian outfit closed in on a deal for Roma’s left wing-back, Leonardo Spinazzola.

Yet Inter look set to complete a deal for the English full-back, with reliable Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano claiming both United and Inter have stumbled upon an agreement worth £1.5m.
Ashley Young to Inter, here we go! Total agreement with Man United for €1,5M. Medicals on next days. 🇬🇧 #transfers #Inter #MUFC #ManUnited @DiMarzio

Although we should all agree that Young is past his best, this is probably not the best time to lose him but as we seen with Romelu Lukaku, the manager may be left without any other choice.
Young has not featured in a match day squad since links to Inter intensified. That’s enough to suggest his head has turned and Ole has accepted that he will be leaving — so it’s time to cope without having him around.
Brandon Williams is excellent and should be our first choice left-back now, but this squad is very thin and we are not in a position where we can lose players without replacing them.
And it must be quality we replace them with.

Great move for united bit of cash and huge amount of wages off the books that may potentially cover Bruno’s wages if the deal goes through
