Man Utd team news for FA Cup replay against Wolves

Eric Bailly is getting closer to full fitness but Ole Gunnar Solskjaer says he won’t be ready for Manchester United’s FA Cup replay against Wolves on Tuesday night.

The Red Devils are at home for the replay and go into the game after the convincing 4-0 win over Norwich City at the weekend.

Bailly made his comeback in the U23s’ victory over Newcastle United on Friday, along with Timothy Fosu-Mensah, and the Ivorian will continue his recovery in a behind closed-doors friendly with Sheffield United’s youngsters later today.

He hasn’t played all season after picking up a knee injury against Tottenham during the pre-season tour.

“We’ll probably have a similar squad to what we had at the weekend against Norwich,” Solskjaer told MUTV before his press conference this morning (via ManUtd.com). “Eric is playing today, behind closed-doors, so he’s very close to full fitness, but it’s still a few days early, this one.”

Ashley Young looks set to miss out again with his future up in the air, while Luke Shaw is a doubt after straining his hamstring in the warm-up at the weekend.

Meanwhile, there is uncertainty around Jesse Lingard’s inclusion after he missed the Norwich game through illness.

Marcus Rashford could be rested for the tie to deal with United’s busy schedule. Solskjaer may have one eye on Sunday’s clash with Liverpool.

United will definitely be without Paul Pogba, Scott McTominay and Marcos Rojo.
