Respected journalist Henry Winter has praised former Manchester United captain Rio Ferdinand for his punditry on BT Sport.
Always modelling a trendy blazer whilst on television, Ferdinand uses his experience as a top footballer to provide valuable insight.
Today the former England international covered Manchester United’s scoreless draw at Arsenal in the FA Cup third round — meaning the game will be replayed at Old Trafford at a later date.

Winter must have been tuned in for FA Cup coverage on BT Sport before posting the tweet below:
Really enjoy Rio Ferdinand’s BT analysis. Draws on huge experience, gets strong points over quickly: his argument why Williams no pen (still a debate tbh); #mufc winger not in possession needs to get in the area; Greenwood’s qualities etc #WOLMUN

Ferdinand deserves the credit Winter has given him for his punditry to date, but the ex-Red was involved in a debate with Robin van Persie during the week that saw the duo challenge Paul Pogba to speak out and add clarity around his future.
He never hides his love and affection for MUFC which admittedly makes him a lot easier to digest than others.
Do you think Ferdinand has become a better pundit than Gary Neville? Maybe that’s a debate for another day. We’re still p*ssed off with the performance we witnessed today against Wolves.
