Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has given the nod to 17-year-old Mason Greenwood for Manchester United’s pre-season friendly against Tottenham Hotspur.
There has been lots of talk about the youngster facing Chelsea in United’s Premier League opener, but now we finally get to see him in action against a top flight side, albeit in a friendly.

Ashley Young takes the captain’s armband, with Aaron Wan-Bissaka set to operate on the opposite flank, as the two full-backs line up on either side of centre-backs Chris Smalling and Marcos Rojo.
In midfield it looks like Andreas Pereira and Scott McTominay will play alongside each other in deeper roles than Paul Pogba, who may be allowed to roam in attacking positions.
Anthony Martial has been handed the chance to lead the line for the Red Devils, with new signing Daniel James also starting.
