Manchester United enjoyed a dominant first-half performance against Leeds United at the Optus Stadium.
The Reds took the lead through Mason Greenwood after a scintillating team move, and doubled it shortly after with Marcus Rashford showing excellent composure to slot home.
Solskjaer’s men had a hatful of chances to score even more goals against the Championship side, and new signing Daniel James came within inches of opening his account for United.
The Welshman showed lightening pace over a large distance to get in position for Rashford’s pass.
James then missed by the narrowest of margins in what was an extremely promising counter attack from the Reds.
United are going to be dangerous for any side this season with the abundance of pace going forward.
