Diogo Dalot has sent a message to Manchester United fans on twitter ahead of the new season.
The Reds are expected to report back for pre-season tomorrow at the AON training complex before flying out for their tour to Australia next week.
Dalot will be be hoping for a far better season this time out after last season’s unacceptable sixth-placed finish in the league.
The lowly league position was no fault of Dalot’s however, who shone from both right-back and in a more advanced role in his first season at Old Trafford.
A shock report came out earlier today in the Evening Standard that United had told Dalot he could leave this summer, which makes no sense at all given the player’s youth and signs of potential.
Instead, we look forward to seeing Dalot challenge new signing Aaron Wan-Bissaka and left-back Luke Shaw for a place in the team next season.

Update: It seems as though the Evening Standard made an error in claiming the Reds have allowed Dalot to leave this summer. Instead, the report has changed the name to Matteo Darmian who is deemed surplus to requirements.
