Timothy Fosu-Mensah won’t want to be reminded of last season, which saw a horrid loan spell at Fulham end with the Cottagers relegated to the Championship.
It was hardly his fault — the Netherlands international only made 10 appearances in the Premier League last term, as per WhoScored, and we can only hope he can get his career back on track next season with United. Otherwise you’d fear for his future at Old Trafford.

In order to put the Fulham nightmare behind him, Fosu-Mensah is preparing for pre-season early.
Next season is his greatest chance to make it at United, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer still looking to make something of a questionable defence.
The 21-year-old can play at right-back or centre-back, so his versatility should benefit the Red Devils when games come thick and fast.
