Everton have doubled their lead against Manchester United thanks to Gylfi Sigurdsson.
As well as Sigurdsson hits the ball, there’s no way he should be beating David de Gea from that distance, but United have been abject.
The ball takes a bounce but De Gea’s positioning could have been a lot better.
United are now two goals behind and will lose ground in the race for a top-four finish unless they pull something out of the bag quickly.
This is the second mistake De Gea has made this week after a howler saw Lionel Messi score his second against the Reds on Tuesday night.
🚀 – It’s 2 for @Everton as Sigurdsson hits one from distance!
Should David de Gea be doing better there? 🤔
