According to The Sun, Manchester United have been keeping a close eye on Norwich City defender Ben Godfrey.
The Canaries are four points clear on top of the Championship with 38 games played, so it’s no wonder one of their players is impressing the Premier League big boys.
Godfrey, 21, has an estimated market value of £3.15 million, as per Transfermarkt. His contract at Norwich runs out in 2022 so they might look to extend that with Premier League promotion looking likely.

It is reported that the Championship side will ask for no less than £10 million for the player who only really broke into the first team in January.
The Sun claims United sent scouts to watch Godrey perform against Rotherham on March 16th. They won 2-1 with Godfrey scoring his second goal for the club.
It wouldn’t be any harm to sign a young talented defender like Godfrey along with a world class addition such as Kalidou Koulibaly or Toby Alderweireld, but United have handed out some questionable contracts of late with both Phil Jones and Chris Smalling destined for longer careers at Old Trafford.
I’m not saying both didn’t deserve new deals – but as a duo, it’s a joke.
