Confirmed MUFC lineup XI vs Crystal Palace – Fred starts, Chong on bench

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has named a makeshift starting eleven for tonight’s game against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.

However, Crystal Palace have never won a Premier League game against the Reds in 19 attempts, and the Norweigan will be hoping his team will have enough quality to secure another victory over the Eagles this evening.

A win for United would maintain their fifth placed league position, but Arsenal must fail to beat Bournemouth for United to leapfrog their rivals for the Champions League positions into fourth.

Fred makes his first Premier League start under Solskjaer alongside Paul Pogba and Scott McTominay in midfield.

Chris Smalling retaining his place after keeping three clean sheets since his return from injury, and starts alongside Diogo Dalot in what could be a 5 at the back formation.

Marcus Rashford is on the substitutes bench following a knock picked up in Sunday’s game against Liverpool.

Meanwhile, exciting youth prospects Tahith Chong and James Garner fill spots on United’s bench this evening
