(Watch) Rashford scores stunning long range free-kick against Cardiff

It took Manchester United just three minute to open the scoring against Cardiff City, thanks to a stunning long range free-kick by Marcus Rashford.

New interim boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer could not have asked for a better start to his reign as manager.

Rashford is a player we should see perform better in an attack-minded side and he has opened his account brilliantly under the caretaker manager.

United are currently 11 points off fourth place, with Chelsea losing to Leicester early on. A win will see us cut that gap to 9 points on Christmas day.

While it’s unlikely that we’ll finish in the top four this season, we’ve got to aim to pile the pressure on.

This is very much the perfect start Solskjaer would have been looking for, especially to shut up the home support who gave him a hard time as United arrived in Cardiff.

Let’s hope Rashford and the lads can put more past the Cardiff goalkeeper. It would be great to see Paul Pogba get his name on the scoresheet…
