(Video) Man Utd fan trolls Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson with hilarious title race reference

We would like to think most Manchester United fans wouldn’t entertain a Liverpool player by giving them a minute of their time, but recent footage shows a Red trolling Jordan Henderson and it’s quite funny.

Twitter user @MUnitedGirl videos herself makes it clear she’s a “huge United fan” as part of her introduction before asking the Liverpool captain whether they’re going to let it slip this year.

Back in 2014, Liverpool had a good chance of winning their first ever Premier League title. The Scousers faced title rivals Chelsea with three games left of the season, after going on an 11-game winning streak and were five points ahead of the Blues and three clear of Manchester City, who still had a game in hand.

Jose Mourinho was manager of Chelsea at the time, forcing his side to frustrate Brendan Rodgers’ Liverpool with a deep defensive line and plenty of time wasting from the start. But the best moment came as Gerrard miscontrolled a pass by Mamdou Sakho and slipped trying to rectify the mistake. It allowed striker Demba Ba to run at goal before opening the scoring.

Two weeks prior to Gerrard’s infamous slip, Liverpool had beaten fellow title contenders City 3-2. Gerrard then gathered his teammates for an emotional huddle, making sure the cameras would take note, screaming ‘we do not let this slip’.

How ironic.

Liverpool are currently on top of the Premier League with 16 matches played, one point clear of City, and they host Manchester United at Anfield this weekend. A win for Mourinho’s men should see the Scousers’ time on top of the league short lived as City host Everton.

Henderson says ‘no’ when asked if they’re about to slip up in this season’s title race, but still agrees to pose with the United fan in question for a photo.

That said, I wouldn’t take up memory space on my phone with pictures of that shithouse…
