Barcelona reportedly fear Manchester United could yet beat them to the transfer of Chelsea winger Willian as they table a £65 million bid for the Brazilian.
The Brazil international has shone during his four years at Stamford Brdige – after being signed by Jose Mourinho – and it’s no wonder top clubs are tracking him as he would make a fine signing for any club.
Even the Portuguese tactician’s known admiration of Willian is making the La Liga champions anxious to get things done in case he arrives at Old Trafford instead, according to the Daily Mail.

The 29-year-old would slot in nicely at United, offering more balance to our attack on the right side. It’s fair to say we’ve become far too predictable with all of our attacking coming down the left side and teams are catching on to that whenever we hit them on the counter.
Chelsea would obviously rather sell Willian to a foreign club than to a Premier League rival, with the sale of Nemanja Matic to United last summer coming back to haunt them.
I was more optimistic about us landing Willian before Wednesday’s press conference in Los Angels. Mourinho put a real negative spin on the upcoming season with the lack of investment this summer.
