The agent of Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic is very busy at the moment. His client was the talk of the World Cup before the tournament started in June, with clubs such as Manchester United, Juventus and Real Madrid all reportedly chasing his signature.
Now, it looks like the player’s agent has been doing the rounds in Europe, contacting all of the elite clubs that could do with a new central midfielder before the transfer window shuts.
Supposedly available at €150 million, Milinkovic-Savic has been strongly linked with United for much of the summer, with the 23-year-old playing alongside fellow Serbian Nemanja Matic at the World Cup.

Recent reports have thrown Chelsea into the mix though, as new manager Maurizio Sarri knowing the player rather well from his time in Serie A.
The good news for us, according to Corriere dello Sport, as per CaughtOffside, is that Milinkovic-Savic’s agent Mateja Kezman has been in touch offering his client to United.
This will excite a few fans but, in my honest opinion, Lazio’s valuation is an instant turn off. I cannot imagine Mourinho blowing that much of his transfer kitty on one midfielder when he wishes to strengthen in other departments too.
Make no mistake about it… Milinkovic-Savic would be an upgrade on most of our midfielders, but United desperately need a new centre-back this summer and they’ve already got a midfielder in Fred from Shakhtar Donetsk.
