Bale refuses to aid Real Madrid’s ‘Operation Salah’ by preferring Man Utd switch over Liverpool

Gareth Bale could hold the key to Real Madrid’s pursuit of Liverpool talisman Mohamed Salah.

According to Don Balon, Real Madrid president Florentino Perez plans on using Bale to boost ‘operation Salah’, although the Wales star may well have something else to say about that.

The Egyptian is who Perez wants to replace Bale with, which could see Madrid’s no.11 ahead of the opposite direction and join Liverpool.

That is one way Madrid could negotiate a deal as Liverpool with requiring excessive money for their star man and only Bale could lower those high demands.

But, Bale does not seem keen.

Don Balon go a step further in their report to suggest Bale would prefer a switch to Manchester United or Tottenham.

Bale has always been on United’s radar, though he decided to snub the Reds for Madrid back in 2013. He has no regrets after winning La Liga, four Champions Leagues, and the Copa Del Rey.

After watching his match-winning brace against Liverpool in the Champions League last month, I don’t think there are many United fans against the idea of signing Bale and this only adds fuel to the fire.

Plus, Bale is a player that is capable of special moments in big games. United need exactly that.
