Romelu Lukaku scored another brace at the 2018 World Cup as he continues his prolific run of form for Belgium.
❄ Ice-cool finishing from a man in red-hot form 🔥
That’s FOUR goals in two 2018 #WorldCup games for @RomeluLukaku9! pic.twitter.com/TaVthjCd7V

The Manchester United striker finished superbly for both goals as Belgium look the real deal based on what we’ve seen from them so far at this tournament.
That said, Belgium have only faced Panama and Tunisia. Neither of those nations were expected to qualify for the knockout stages, so the group stages has been a walk in the park for Roberto Martinez’s men.

Lukaku’s first was his 40th goal for his country, a true landmark, and he’s only gone to make it 41. His second goal, however, would be my pick of the bunch.
Already Belgium’s all-time leading goal scorer, it’s been an incredible start to a World Cup campaign for the 25-year-old, who has years left at the highest level.
The sky is the limit.
United fans reacted in a rather excited manner on Twitter:
Chelsea fans are gonna be absolutely buzzing that Drogba helps Lukaku when he bags 40 goals next season…

Lukaku getting better and better. He will dominate the EPL next season #mufc #BELTUN

Stat: Lukaku is the first player to score 2 or more goals in consecutive World Cup games since Diego Maradona in 1986 (England & Belgium). Some jug-eared goal-hanger also managed that feat in 86.

There was a large contingency of United fans who blamed the team's poor results on Lukaku. Give him the proper service on the floor or in the air and he'll put up numbers.
