According to Sky Italia, Manchester United will make a improved offer for Torino’s Matteo Darmian this week.
The offer said to be placed this week is believed to have a worth of €20 million behind it and United face stiff competition from Napoli for the full back.
It broke on Saturday that United were in talks with Torino over signing Darmian but the story now appears to be gaining pace.
SKY Italia reporting that United are expected to return with an improved bid nearer Torino’s valuation in the next few days.

If a deal does go through it will be a relief to see an actual right-back play at right-back next season rather than a one footed makeshift winger (*cough cough* Antonio Valencia) attempt to pull the strings.
Rafael Da Silva didn’t get much of a look in and simply does not look to be favoured by Louis van Gaal. Although, saying that, there has been absolutely no talk of him finding a new club this summer which comes as a great surprise.
Watch this space… we could finally get a right back this summer after being stood up by Dani Alves, the heartless bastard.
