United Against Glazer – New campaign to reclaim our club

Manchester United fan Anthony Wilson has come up with a new proposal insisting that fans need to take a unified front to oppose the Glazers. On Sunday night United Against Glazer held a meeting with CEO of MUST Duncan Drasdo to discuss a plan of action.

Wilson made it clear after the meeting that they were not affiliated or supported by MUST in any way shape or form. Although, he has been a strong supporter of their efforts down the years.

The principle aim of setting the account up was of a consequential result of the deadline day shambles, but Wilson insists that he should not be seen as a “knee jerk reaction hero type of guy.” He is a lifelong United fan Home/Away/Europe and beyond from Manchester. Anthony was there in 2005 for the marches and 2010 for the Green & Gold protests.

On Tuesday UAG set the ball rolling with a plea for people’s opinions of the events the night prior and the feedback, according to Anthony Wilson, was damning.

  • We looked like the Dog & Duck.
  • Woodward is out of his depth.
  • I’ve had enough of the Glazer’s penny-pinching tactics.
  • I’m becoming disillusioned with the while ethos around the club.

Before the @UAG1878 Twitter account went live, Wilson then set up an email point of contact and within hours had 1500 responses.

UAG are unwilling at the point to publicise their plan of action.
