United We Stand issue 218, a 56 page summer special costing £3, is currently on sale in newsagents worldwide and their official website. The cover artwork, as you can see, was heavily influence by John Squire (guitarist for The Stone Roses) with a picture of Antonio Valencia splattered with paint.
For the price of £3 you get more than your money’s worth. The summer edition contains interviews with Sir Alex Ferguson, Rio Ferdinand, Louis Saha and The Happy Mondays member Gaz Whelan. Of course, we cannot forget about the 12 prominent Reds, surprisingly including myself, that we asked questions on last season, United’s transfer targets and the upcoming campaign.

Because of the administration involved, they don’t usually accept orders for single issues. However, they are going to make an exception for this summer issue. UWS will accept orders via Paypal (you can use any major credit card). You need to send £4 (if you live in the UK), £5 (ROI & Europe) and £6 (Rest of the World) with your address to firstname.lastname@example.org. They will then post you the issue. This price includes the increased mail charges imposed on the fanzine operators.
