Manchester United claimed a vital set of three points tonight with a 2-1 win over Aston Villa at Old Trafford in the Premier League on Friday night.

It was the perfect way to start 2021 as the victory puts us level on points (33) with arch-rivals Liverpool on top of the Premier League.

We shouldn’t get ahead of ourselves and claim to be involved in a title race that hasn’t started yet, but it’s hard not to be excited by our form since getting knocked out of the Champions League.

Liverpool have a number of injuries and we’ll be playing them soon, so that’s a fixture with added bite this season not that it ever needs it.
