David Raum has addressed speculation linking him with a move to Manchester United, acknowledging that enquiries have arrived over his RB Leipzig future while insisting he has not spoken to another club.

Why United are interested
Manchester United are searching for a player for the left side. Lewis Hall had been regarded as the club’s preferred option, but Newcastle are unwilling to sell him, leaving Raum among several alternatives on the left.
Raum’s contract at Leipzig runs until the summer of 2027, and there have been no concrete talks over an extension so far.
What Raum said about his future
Raum said he had heard the rumours surrounding his future and understood that enquiries had come in because of his contract situation. However, he said he had not held discussions with any club.
He added that his focus since the start of pre-season had been on his own preparation. After dealing with a few issues, he said he felt close to full fitness heading into the weekend.
When asked whether he could guarantee he would remain at Leipzig, Raum did not offer a definitive answer. He said he was looking forward to the start of the league season and to his final contract year as captain.
