Manchester United are open to selling Andre Onana this summer, as three suitors emerge from the Saudi Pro League.

The Red Devils are keen to bolster their ranks with several new players this summer. They have already acquired Matheus Cunha from Wolves last month, but their momentum has been halted by the seemingly never-ending negotiations with Brentford for Bryan Mbeumo.

Afterwards, they’re expected to address other departments, including the centre-forward role and the middle of the park. Moreover, United continue to be linked with a host of goalkeepers, including the likes of Emiliano Martinez and Diogo Costa.

Nevertheless, any new acquisitions will hinge on Onana’s future, as the club cannot afford to keep the Cameroonian custodian and pair him with a new top-notch goalkeeper, especially in the absence of European football next season.

According to sources close to Stretty News, Man Utd would be willing to sell Onana for £30 million.

Man United open to selling Onana for £30m

The Premier League giants had bought the 29-year-old from Inter Milan for £47.5 million a couple of years ago. So despite Onana’s unconvincing displays between the sticks, the club cannot afford to sell him for less than £30 million if they want to avoid registering a capital loss.

At the moment, our sources can confirm that the former Ajax man isn’t anywhere near the exit door. However, he is a popular figure among the Saudi Pro League clubs, with three of them enquiring about his services already.

Which clubs are interested in Andre Onana

The ambitious Al-Qadsiyah has emerged as his keenest admirer, as they have major plans to reinforce their squad this season and cement themselves as genuine challengers on the Saudi and Asian scene.

Moreover, Al-Ittihad are keeping tabs on the situation, while Al-Hilal have also enquired about the player’s availability.

Nevertheless, Ruben Amorim and his staff don’t mind keeping Onana, as they firmly believe he can regain his best form if provided with the right circumstances.

  1. Indeed it will be a big relief of any Saudi club acquires Andre Onana away from Manchester United. This will give a lifeline to the club’s efforts to land a stellar GK to guard the goalposts.

  2. It’s very confusing how Ruben flip flops on Onana , one time he doesn’t want him and the next oh he will improve , make up your mind once and for all and should we end up with him at beginning of season , pls don’t waste our time complaining after he goes on his merry go round blunders . Onana will perform as he fits after all ,after vilifying him all season long what do you expect.

  3. If the coach thinks he us not to the standard of MU then sell him it will be good instead of dragging with him ,and get a good goalkeeper who the coach thinks will fit in his system, MU are dragging touch with the signings and sale that’s why MU is suffering, with the new coach they can get good players not high five players, but normal good players which are there,
They need to sale Rashfard, Sancho, Gannacho, and few others,
