Manchester United have the opportunity to sign Fiorentina striker Moise Kean, but this possible transfer largely hinges on Ruben Amorim’s desire.
The Red Devils are currently in the process of revamping their attacking department. Marcus Rashford, Antony, Jadon Sancho and Alejandro Garnacho have all been excluded from the manager’s plans. Moreover, Rasmus Hojlund could be allowed to leave, while Joshua Zirzkee is tipped to stay.
On the other hand, Matheus Cunha has been made the club’s first summer acquisition, while Bryan Mbeumo is expected to follow suit in the coming days. Nevertheless, a new centre-forward is still required, and Man Utd have thus far fallen short on this front, failing to sway the likes of Liam Delap and Viktor Gyokeres.
Moise Kean ready to make the move to Old Trafford

According to sources close to Stretty News, Kean could represent the answer to the Red Devils’ conundrum. The 25-year-old is coming off the most clinical season of his career, bagging 24 goals in all competitions, and his entourage has offered his services to the Premier League giants. The Italian is thus open to making the switch to Carrington.
Kean would be available for €52 million, which is the figure set in his release clause. The player also has rich suitors in the Arab world, but his priority is to remain in Europe.
Man United waiting for Amorim’s verdict on Kean
With his blistering speed and incredible physical strength, Kean certainly represents an interesting profile for Man Utd. Italian legend Christian Vieri has recently hailed him as a ‘phenomenal striker’ in an interview with The Italian Football Podcast (via CaughtOffside).
Stats in 24/25 | Appearances | Goals | Assists |
Moise Kean | 44 | 25 | 3 |
Liam Delap | 40 | 12 | 2 |
Rasmus Hojlund | 52 | 10 | 4 |
Joshua Zirkzee | 49 | 7 | 3 |
Nevertheless, Amorim will have the final call on whether United will pursue the former Everton, PSG and Juventus bomber, or turn their attention towards alternative profiles. The manager’s stance remains unclear at this stage.
“The manager’s stance remains unclear at this stage.” That is plain misleading. Man Utd hasn’t said anything because they’re not even looking at Moise Kean.
By my count, this is at least the fourth time that Stretty News has pushed Moise Kean when no-one else (with any credibility) is talking about him.
I Really don’t think Kean is of interest to us 😕. Amorim would love a reunion with Gyokeres if we can afford him. There is several others that are ahead of Kean imo.
United MUST NOT do a U-turn and bid for Gyokeres; having rejected United because they are not in the Champions League, only to change his mind as Arsenal may not want him.
Kean May have matured since his Everton days, but he has also (reportedly) turned United down, so United need to look elsewhere.
If Osimhen does not reduce his wage demands, United should try and swap Sancho for Vlahovic.
