The next Manchester United offer for Bryan Mbeumo will reportedly be the club’s last on this particular front.
The Red Devils have long agreed personal terms with the 25-year-old star, but they have yet to find an accord with Brentford who have already turned down their original bid. United put £45m plus £10m on the table, but the Bees deemed it too low.
But while this development ensued a couple of weeks ago, the negotiations have seemingly stalled since, with MUFC failing to find a breakthrough, even though they’re considered the ultimate favourites in the race for Mbeumo.
In his latest update on Centre Devils, Man Utd insider, Sully, reveals why INEOS have yet to finalise this operation and move to other targets.
Why Man United have yet to sign Bryan Mbeumo
The source insists that, despite the delay, the two clubs remain in constant contact and that United are optimistic about reaching the finish line.
Nevertheless, Sully reiterates that reports claiming that the two parties have reached an agreement are far from precise, as the gap between the asking price and the proposed fee remains significant.
While Brentford believe that Mbeumo is worthy of a similar transfer fee to the one United paid for Matheus Cunha (£62.5 million), Man Utd feel that this figure is excessive, especially with the player’s contract expiring next season, albeit it includes an option for another year.

Man Utd prepare one last bid for Mbeumo
Moreover, Sully reveals that Man United are taking their time before launching their second bid, as it is expected to be their last. Hence, the Reds are carefully studying the situation to maximise the chances of receiving Brentford’s approval.
Therefore, the coming days could prove decisive on this front, as either Man Utd succeed in luring the 25-year-old Premier League star to Carrington, or they will turn their attention to alternative profiles.
Mbeumo is coming off an exceptional season that saw him score 20 goals in the Premier League, which explains why United are desperate to sign him. His former manager, Thomas Frank, hailed him as a ‘fantastic’ player.
Morning everyone, pls help me inform the BOSS in united to bring in the right players that are willing to fight for my manchester united not lizy players who only comes for holidays on a pay roll tanks.
If truely utd are desperate, then accept the reality and agree to pay Brentford asking price. Utd need more signing.
We need this deal with Mbeumo concluded this coming week or we must move on to other targets.
It would be a sad time for all the fans if this deal falls through. They are all pinning their hopes on this whole new forward line and Mbeumo and Cunha will be adored by these fans. It would be a sad day to lise out over a couple of million.
I can’t understand why Beranda and co are prolonging the transfer. He is a tested player in EPl that will surely deliver. His added advantage as a striker should be taken into consideration abd seal the deal. Which other alternative can be like him?
They are just been stingy pls
Utd should tell them no deal. Don’t let clubs hold us to ransom. This what has happened for years and we end up with expensive players we can’t get rid of.
United still need 7 players only got 1 in so far we need Mbeumo in
Need 2 strikers in
Defence midfielder
Defender
Goalkeeper
Get rid off 5 players 🙏🏽
United should walk away from Mbeumo issue.
They are spending to long chasing a player who cannot make his mind up . The clock is ticking we need deals done so these New players can integrate with present players on the training ground . The start of the New Season is just weeks away.

All he wants is Manutd and not Spurs. The personal fee has been agreed for long. Brentford are holding out for a few in the region if £63m.
Hi guys, why doesn’t man United try buying cheap, is it the scouting that’s poor, because believe me there are cheaper options in african clubs, France, Belgium and south Americancountries, they come cheap, so if they perform well, you are in for big profits, and if they fail, you are losing 400k euros, compared to the losses you incur when you buy 72m,82m ,60m players ,who when they fail, you struggle to get buyers ready to give you half the price of what you invested, not forgetting the big salaries you pay to them, remember cheap players demand low wages, lets take cheap risks, lets buy cheap!!
