Fabrizio Romano reveals that Manchester United still have a shred of hope in the race for both Viktor Gyokeres and Benjamin Sesko.
The Red Devils are currently in the process of revamping their attacking department. They have already acquired Matheus Cunha, while a move for Bryan Mbeumo is still in the works.
INEOS are simultaneously working on offloading the attackers deemed surplus to requirements, namely Marcus Rashford, Antony, Jadon Sancho, Alejandro Garnacho, and potentially Rasmus Hojlund.
In the coming days and weeks, United are expected to accelerate their attempts to land a new centre-forward.
However, Man Utd’s plans intertwine with Arsenal, who are equally desperate to find a new marksman and have identified the same targets.
United & Arsenal battling it out on multiple fronts
The two Premier League rivals have been the frontrunners in the race for Viktor Gyokeres, which has swiftly unfolded into a chaotic soap opera involving a public spat between Sporting CP’s president and the player’s agent.
Moreover, Arsenal have been trying to reach an agreement with Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko, with MUFC still lurking in the background.
In recent hours, it has been claimed that the Gunners have secured a deal for the 22-year-old Slovenian bomber.
Nevertheless, Fabrizio Romano has denied these reports in the latest video posted on his official YouTube channel.
Man Utd still have a chance for Sesko & Gyokeres

The Italian journalist insists that the North Londoners are working hard on the Sesko track, but have yet to reach the finish. He also explains that Gyokeres remains an option for Mikel Arteta’s side, but they haven’t been able to find a breakthrough just yet.
Therefore, Man Utd still stand a chance in the race for both strikers, even though neither track appears to be easy at this stage, with their respective clubs requesting figures in the region of £80 million.
Try and get us Gyokeres
I don’t think they understand the urgency to get us either Gyokeres, Osimhen or even both because, as Louis van Gaal clearly stated on Sky Sports, Man United used to be a football club but not anymore. They have become a fully commercialised entity. Those two players are tried-and-tested goal machines who could even win the PL next season gor us. Amorim only needs to get tactical chemistry right to storm the English Premier League.
Why are Utd waiting for other clubs to do deals with players and waiting in the background. We end up with all the crap players that no one wants. Grow some balls and get in there. If they only want champions league then fuck them off.
With several players stating that they will not play for Manchester United ever again. Is a break in the contract between the club and the player. This being the case why does the club still have to pay them ? Set them free with no payments might make them change their attitudes. They seem to think that they are bigger than the club which they are not.

We have too big for nothing youngsters who have lost sight because of their fat salaries. it’s so unfortunate that some of them academy graduates , who tend to forget their roots and get fooled by listening to the blood sucking agents.. I will be happy if they leave sooner than later. Thanks Harry Maguire, keeps on fighting, also thumb-up to Bruno who rejected millions and chose loyalty
just a word of advice to the young crop, you will end up nowhere. Ask Nicholas anelka. after all, some of you did good charity work. Now u are nullifying it, shame on you
