Manchester United fans are collectively holding their breath as they wait to learn Bruno Fernandes’ final decision, but Bryan Mbeumo shouldn’t be concerned by the ongoing drama.

The Red Devils’ captain has received a sensational offer from Al-Hilal, and his agent spent several days in Saudi Arabia negotiating the potential deal.

Man Utd would also be compensated by a lucrative transfer fee to part ways with their most decisive player over the past few years.

Bruno Fernandes’ decision will shake up Man United plans

Some sources believe the fee could reach £100 million, a sum that would come in handy for the cash-strapped giants, especially after missing out on Europe.

But while the final decision should be revealed in the coming days, football journalist Ben Jacobs believes that Mbeumo can rest assured, as the outcome won’t affect United’s attempts to sign him.

“Manchester United still intend to try for Bryan Mbeumo even if Bruno Fernandes stays. He is one of their leading targets,” posted the transfer market insider on his X account.

Jacobs adds that the Red Devils have reiterated their desire to keep Bruno, but in any case, the decision is expected to be taken soon.

As for Mbeumo, he is wanted by Arsenal and Newcastle, but he shares the same view as Matheus Cunha when it comes to joining Man Utd. In other words, he would be happy to play his football at Old Trafford, even if it means missing out on European football next season.

The Cameroonian has been a Brentford player since making the move from Troyes in 2019. This season, he cemented himself as one of the most explosive wingers in the Premier League, scoring a highly impressive 20 goals and providing his teammates with eight assists.

His manager, Thomas Frank, hailed him and his teammate Yoane Wissa as ‘incredible’. The Bees are reportedly requesting £50 million to part ways with their prized asset.

  1. The news is a welcome development to our teaming fans.
Most especially bringing Matheus Cunha and Brian Mbomou to Man Utd, as well as Bruno Fernandes deciding to stay put in Old Trafford.
I would be glad if we can bring in Victor Gyokeres or Victor Osimhen to strengthen the attack. A defensive midfielder, A young and strong center back and a left wing back are also needed in our team.
For opinion, I suggest we sell and allow these following players to leave; Luke Shaw, Antony, Sancho, Eriksen, Hujlund Jonny Evans. and Malacia.
Our bringing in new players shouldn’t depend on these players, owing to their injury history. They are; Lisandro Martinez and Mason Mount.
I’m of the opinion we keep Alerjandro Garnacho, maybe Rashford. But if are to cash in on Rashford we can sell him.
