Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has regained the services of two players ahead of Friday’s clash against Chelsea, including Ayden Heaven.
The Blues will host the Red Devils at Stamford Bridge in the penultimate round of the Premier League. Amorim’s men have little to play for on the domestic stage, as they currently lie in a shocking 16th place, but this contest will be their last before the Europa League final against Tottenham on Wednesday.
While several stars will be rested, the match at the Bridge will serve as a final dress rehearsal for some players who will be looking to prove they’re worthy of a role in the grand finale in Bilbao, or simply prove their fitness.
Ayden Heaven rejoins Man Utd squad

Manchester Evening News journalist Samuel Luckhurst revealed the squad that travelled to West London by train, and it includes two returning players.
After several weeks on the sidelines, Heaven has finally returned to the fold. The teenager joined United in February after leaving Arsenal, and he immediately made an impact with the first team. Wayne Rooney hailed him as a ‘fantastic’ player following his first few impressive displays.
Sadly for Heaven, his momentum was interrupted by a knee injury he suffered against Leicester in March. While it wasn’t as serious as initially feared, it has kept him out of action for two months already, especially after enduring a setback in his recovery.
It remains to be seen if the youngster will be immediately thrust back to action, but his return to the squad is certainly a huge boost for Amorim, especially with Matthijs de Ligt and Leny Yoro still out with injuries, thus leaving the manager with limited options at the back.
In addition to the young defender, Toby Collyer was also part of the travelling party. The English midfielder has been out with a leg injury since early April.

We need to play safe in tonight’s game, as the big is ahead of us. For me, I’m of the opinion we play our under 21 and under 18 boys against Chelsea, as match is of no significance to us.
Disagree it’s of no significance; for me it’s vital that in these last matches Amorim can demonstrate he’s definitely got United moving in right direction. Otherwise – even if we win Europa – Ineos are going to have Ten Hag on their mind. Rubbish season ‘saved’ by winning a cup, but rubbish continued this season and we all know what happened. So if United continue to be poor in remaining League fixtures, Ineos have got to be thinking they don’t want to make the same mistake. I want Amorim still to be in charge next Season as I can’t shake the feeling it’s all going to come together for us, with the added bonus, hopefully, of being in the Champions League, big joke tho that undoubtedly is.
Got the part of David Miller but I would still consider man United playing safe tonight, even though if we look at the season so far man United is really lagging behind but I would still consider playing safe for the Europa cup although Chelsea is our rival and winning tonight means a lot but next week game is of more importance
Doesn’t really matter what team he plays they won’t beat chelsea. They need to get rid of all the dead wood and fast amorin is not the man either
He back tracks on everything he says so what does that tell you about him it’s not about words now it’s action that’s needed
Good 👍 guys. We need a CM and CF at manutd right now. Heaven back very nicely, please! plsss. Win ECL or not, give us a CF and CM. Thanks.
We need to play safe and also play all our players for match fitness no excuse it’s their job to play week in week out at least a draw is good

Despite the most inevitable loss last night to Chelsea , I kinda liked the performance of Utd which in my view ranks amongst the rare exquisite performances of the season esp before Ruben’s substitutions . Hojlund signed sealed and delivered his last performance for the club . Hojlund and Garnacho flatter to deceive and should be outrightly be offloaded
out of Old Trafford this summer without equivocation. I pray to the God of soccer to descend on Sir Jim Ratcliffe and Ineos to comply unreservedly Amen.
Add Mainoo and Ugarte plus Luke Shaw to that list of Garnacho and Hojlund. And don’t forget Onana.
