Despite their woeful domestic campaigns, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur will share the stage at the Europa League final.

The two Premier League giants are just above the relegation zone, but they’re both keen to end the campaign with some silverware, while also sneaking into the Champions League next season.

Due to the two clubs’ chaotic forms, this might be a tough one to predict for both bookmakers and punters. So perhaps gambling enthusiasts would be better off playing online casino games. For his part, Gary Neville has an uneasy feeling about the contest as he recalls his days as a footballer and how he used to approach this sort of showdown.

“Roy Keane called it a great game the other day. That is what Roy would think. My mentality is different. I was a right-back. You know the only thing you can do is lose your team the game,” said the former Man Utd captain during his appearance on NBC (via The Mirror).

“Unless you are Trent Alexander-Arnold, you are unlikely to win your team a game as a right-back. It is a huge game.”

Although he’s anxious about the outcome, Neville believes the Red Devils will prevail as he cites the club’s tendency to win silverware even when enduring miserable campaigns.

“The consequences are massive. I have a sickly feeling in my stomach about this game as a United fan purely because of what is at stake. But I am confident.

“Manchester United have an uncanny knack, even in difficult times and bad times – and this has been a really bad season – of picking up trophies. That is not a bad habit to have as a football club. They still get to finals and do things even though the league form has been awful – and it has been a terrible season.”

The contest will take place in Bilbao on May 21. Cursiously, the Red Devils eliminated Athletic Club who were one step away from taking part in a dream final played at home. Nevertheless, Ruben Amorim’s men shrugged the Basque club aside, beating them 7-1 on aggregate.
