Alejandro Garnacho opens the scoring against Bodo/Glimt with the easiest goal of his career after 58 seconds.
Manchester United take an early lead against Bodo/Glimt in the Europa League.
The perfect start at Old Trafford where United host Norwegian opposition.
Rasmus Hojlund pressed the goalkeeper Nikita Haikin, who made a meal of the situation, before Alejandro Garnacho tapped the ball into the empty net.
50 seconds!
That’s all it took for Man United to score their first home goal under Ruben Amorim ⚡️

The goal had nothing to do with United’s new system. It was completely down to desire and wanting the win the ball more than our opponent and that bodes well for the rest of the game.
Fans will be hoping it’s not a repeat of the game on Sunday when we failed to push on from a great start.
United are already on the front foot and it should stay that way.
Alejandro Garnacho opens scoring after 58 seconds
Marcus Rashford’s opener on Sunday came after 81 minutes, but Garnacho’s effort went in after 48 seconds tonight.
Garnacho won’t score many goals easier than that.
While scoring early goals is a record we want to see continue under Amorim, it only matters if we can go on to win these matches.
