Dutch expert boldly predicts Erik ten Hag future after Manchester United silence

Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag’s future is uncertain and Dutch expert Marcel Van der Kraan has stated that the media in the Netherlands isn’t confident about his future at Old Trafford.

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag is under huge pressure to turn results around after a disappointing start to the season.

The Red Devils have only won three of their last ten fixtures with speculation rife about the former Ajax manager’s future.

Manchester United were able to secure a point against Aston Villa last weekend but were unable to rouble the the Aston Villa goal.

Sir Jim Ratcliffe and the Manchester United hierarchy met in London this week in a pre-planned meeting but it was expected that they would discuss the current situation, including the future of Ten Hag.

There has been silence since the meeting, leaving many supporters wondering if a decision will be made on the underfire coach.

With pressure mounting on the 54-year-old coach, Dutch expert Van der Kraan has spoken about the feeling that the media in the Netherlands have on Ten Hag’s future at Old Trafford.

Speaking to talkSport, Van der Kraan said: “He seemed very confident over the last few days, but that is the only way that he can beat it at the moment, or he can hold himself up.

“If he was to let his head go down, then everybody would be on top of him. And he’s showing that last bit of resilience, which he probably needs to survive there.

  1. Isn’t it common sense that Erik ten Hag should be sacked after such and atrocious start to the season.
    Any layman can decide this with his “regressive” style so far.
    When someone who has been afforded a total of £600m in recruitments over 2.3 years, his tactics or lack of any, had pushed the team to the doldrums.
    PLEASE SACK HIM to salvage whatever remains of the season.

  2. If INEOS intend to dismiss him, they should do it NOW.
    it’s very unfair to leave him in limbo, uncertain what is the decision. Even if he’s not the right Manager for us, he’s still a decent man and deserves better.

  3. Is better for us, as a man.u. fans to be patience with our manager,support him,give enough time to build our team,gradually we should reached the level where we want to be.Frequent sacking managers lead to the stagnation of team in one place.
