Confirmed Manchester United XI vs Crystal Palace: Rashford dropped

Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag has named his starting XI for the Red Devils trip to Selhurst Park to face Crystal Palace this evening with Marcus Rashford a shock omission from the XI.

Erik ten Hag will be hoping the side he has put out to face Oliver Glasner’s Crystal Palace can continue the form of the last two wins against Southampton and Barnsley.

The former Ajax boss needs a consistent run of wins to gain momentum and rise up the table in the coming weeks.

Andre Onana unsurprisingly regains his spot in goal after Altay Bayindir rotated in for the midweek cup fixture against Barnsley.

The back four consists of Noussair Mazraoui, Matthijs de Ligt, Lisandro Martinez, and Diogo Dalot.

The midfield is without Manuel Ugarte who finds himself on the bench, instead, the Dutch coach has opted for a midfield three of Christian Eriksen, Kobbie Mainoo, and captain Bruno Fernandes.

Despite hitting form in the last two games Rashford is not named in the attack, with Alejandro Garnacho taking his place to join Amad Diallo and Joshua Zirkzee.
