David Ornstein of The Athletic claims Wolves have won the race to sign Pedro Lima from Sport Recife.
The 17-year-old was linked with some Premier League clubs, including Manchester United.
Lima has made eight senior appearances in Brazil’s second division.
The right-back is set to sign a five-year deal at Wolves.
Former Manchester United striker Andy Cole believes Everton are right to demand £70million for Jarrad Branthwaite.
The England international has agreed on personal terms with United, but an agreement must be met with Everton before a deal can materialise.
Cole was asked whether Everton were right to put a £70m price tag on Branthwaite. The former striker told Betfred:
“100%. He’s 21 years old, Manchester United have offered £35 million plus add-ons, so why would Everton try and do them a favour and say that it’s a fantastic deal for them, especially when you consider the problems they have.
“Every centre-half that Manchester United has bought in the last 10 years, they’ve overpaid for. They’ve spent a fortune on them, so what’s going to change now? To get him out of Everton, it’s going to cost you more than £35 million plus add-ons.”
Manchester United are among the clubs to have contacted Paris Saint-Germain over the signing of Xavi Simons.
L’Equipe cite interest from Arsenal, Bayern Munich and Man City as well as United.
PSG are not interested in selling the highly-rated 21-year-old, who is at Euro 2024 with the Netherlands. They intend to loan Simons out like they did last season when he joined RB Leipzig.
Simons scored 10 goals and registered an impressive 15 assists for the German outfit.
Manchester United had an opening bid for Jarrad Branthwaite – worth approx £35million plus add-ons – turned down by Everton.
According to Sky Sports, Everton value Branthwaite at more than £70m.
United are now discussing what steps to take next. Should the Reds make a new bid or consider their options before walking away?
If there’s truth in this, Everton risk pricing Branthwaite out of a dream move to the biggest club in English football.
Manchester United have had a €30million bid turned down by Barcelona for midfield ace Fermin Lopez.
Diario Sport – as cited by Get Football News Spain – claims United have been in touch in the hope of bringing Lopez to Old Trafford.
However, Barcelona are reluctant to sell for that amount and it has been rejected.
The 21-year-old was called up to the Spain side for Euro 2024 after enjoying a breakthrough season at Barcelona, scoring eight La Liga goals.
Former Manchester United interim manager Ralf Rangnick is a fan of Michael Olise.
The Crystal Palace star missed out on a place in France’s Euro 2024 squad, but he’s never been called up to the national team.
Rangnick, who has led Austria to the European Championship, made it no secret that he ‘loves’ Olise.
Rangnick said: “He has never been called up by France but I love Michael Olise. If only he had Austrian origins!
“He is an exceptional player. He is quick, a strong dribbler, technically gifted and he works when he loses the ball. Whenever I saw him play, he had a smile on his face.”
Ahead of Austria’s defeat to France on Monday night, Rangnick added: “I am not unhappy that Deschamps didn’t call him up!”

According to reports last night, Crystal Palace want £65m for United-linked defender Marc Guehi.
The centre-back is starting for England at Euro 2024, meaning that a couple of strong performances could put him in the shop window.
Guehi is one of many centre-backs being linked with a summer move to United.
