Manchester United were forced into making a late squad change after Casemiro was deemed unable to feature due to a ‘muscle issue’ and ‘tightness’.

As such, the Brazilian was omitted from United’s line-up release at 2pm, yet featured on the team sheets shared with journalists covering the FA Cup final at Wembley, whereas Willy Kambwala was absent.

The 19-year-old has now been called upon to make the bench after Casemiro’s withdrawal, along with fellow centre-half counterparts Jonny Evans and Victor Lindelof.

Erik ten Hag has opted for a partnership of Lisandro Martinez and Raphael Varane, the latter of which will play his last game as a Red before he leaves the club as a free agent next month.

Elsewhere, Marcus Rashford has returned to the starting 11, while Rasmus Hojlund is again starting the clash as a substitute, as was the case for the last two Premier League outings of the season. He went on to score in both games off the bench, so will be hoping to make a similar impact this afternoon.
