David de Gea in Manchester United training gear is a sight that’s nothing out of the ordinary for the Old Trafford faithful, but it has taken some by surprise, given his release from the club last summer.
Indeed, the Spaniard departed United in July 2023 after 12 years between the sticks as the side’s No.1.
He is yet to find his next suitor and has instead seemingly enjoyed a full season of rest while he mulls over his potential options.
De Gea, 33, has frequently showcased his support for the club since his exit, whether it be through Instagram posts – he shared that he was watching United Women’s FA Cup final triumph on May 12 – or comments praising his former teammates.
Now, he’s made it clear that he’s still a Red at heart after he was snapped keeping his fitness levels up wearing a United shirt.
