Neal Maupay was up to his old tricks this morning by proving to be a wind-up merchant again.

The Brentford forward knows exactly how to get under his opponents’ skin during matches and often takes the affairs to social media following the full-time whistle – you might remember his comical back-and-forth with James Maddison following their clash in February.

Now, it’s Scott McTominay who’s fallen victim to some ribbing from Maupay. After Manchester United’s 1-1 draw with the Bees last night, he shared a snap of the pair on the pitch that showed the Scotsman pulling his shirt, captioning the post: “This fan was desperate for my shirt”.
