Antony has scored his first goal of the season and what a time to get it! The Brazil international was introduced as a late substitute in Sunday’s FA Cup quarter-final against Liverpool and just minutes from time, he scored a wonderfully taken goal.
United opened the scoring early in the game through Scott McTominay after a strong start to the game where they could easily have scored more.
United continued to dominate the first half but somehow, Liverpool scored twice in the latter stages of the first 45 and it looked like that would be enough to seal passage into the semi-final – until Antony popped up, as seen below.

Immediately after the equaliser, a Liverpool move culminated in the visitors striking the post and United were able to escape.
