Rashford starts: confirmed Manchester United line-up vs Everton

Manchester United are back in Premier League action this weekend as the Reds welcome Everton to Old Trafford, with Erik ten Hag’s men looking to get back on track after consecutive defeats in the league.

The loss at Manchester City last weekend was, unfortunately, expected but Fulham coming to Old Trafford and securing all three points was a real blow for Ten Hag.

Prior to that game, United had won each of their previous four games and had cut the gap to fourth-placed Aston Villa down to just five points. Two weeks later, Unai Emery’s men are 11 points clear and Champions League football next season is increasingly unlikely.

Nevertheless, Ten Hag has named the eleven players to get his side back to winning ways on Saturday, with the Dutchman continuing to be plagued by injuries.

Marcus Rashford, who endured a mixed afternoon last time out, starts again whilst Rasmus Hojlund misses out again.

Victor Lindelof continues at left-back, with Raphael Varane and Jonny Evans making up today’s centre-back partnership, as confirmed by BBC journalist Simon Stone.

Confirmed Manchester United line-up (4-2-3-1): Onana, Dalot, Varane, Evans, Lindelof, Casemiro, Mainoo, Fernandes, Garnacho, McTominay, Rashford.
