Rashford leads the line as mega-money attacker misses out: Predicted United line-up to face Everton

Our predicted Manchester United line-up for Saturday’s early kick-off clash with Everton.

The Red Devils will be looking to get back to winning ways after back-to-back Premier League defeats at the hands of Fulham and Manchester City. Meanwhile, Everton, who recently had their 10-point deduction reduced to four, will be keen to move further adrift of the relegation zone.

Erik ten Hag revealed in his press conference today that the game comes too early for the likes of Harry Maguire, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Rasmus Hojlund, although the trio may return to the fold for next Sunday’s FA Cup quarter-final against Liverpool.

Marcus Rashford and Jonny Evans were carrying knocks ahead of the Manchester derby and were withdrawn in the closing stages, however, both have recovered across the week and therefore have been cleared to feature.

Youngster Omari Forson has suffered an injury setback in training, so he joins numerous Reds on the sidelines for this one. Lisandro Martinez, Luke Shaw, Tyrell Malacia, Mason Mount and Anthony Martial are all long-term absentees.

Predicted starting XI

Onana, Dalot, Varane, Evans, Lindelof, Casemiro, Mainoo, Fernandes, McTominay, Garnacho and Rashford.

  1. A lot of writers are suggesting Amad gets a start today. I think it’s time he got a chance – McTominay as sub?
