A Man City fan was escorted away by stewards after making plane gestures towards Manchester United fans in the away end to mock the Munich air disaster during Sunday’s derby.
The City fan in question thinks it’s cool to mock a tragedy such as the Munich air disaster from 1958.
We can only assume he knows nothing about City’s history or is forgetful that a former City player died in the tragic plane crash too.
The initial clip of the gesture was captured by a United fan account and posted on X, prompting outrage online.

Then we were gifted footage showing the City fan in question being led away by a large group of officials in reflective jackets.

It’s not the first time a City fan has done this and, sadly, it won’t be the last time.
