Sky Sports pundit reveals what aspect of Rasmus Hojlund’s game he thinks is ‘better than’ Erling Haaland’s

Rasmus Hojlund may not have reached Erling Haaland’s jaw-dropping numbers just yet in England, but he’s certainly making a name for himself at Manchester United.

The Dane is now on seven Premier League goals for the term, with his opener against Luton Town last Sunday etching his name into the history books as the youngest-ever player to score in six consecutive matches.

Prior to opening his account in the division, Hojlund had already notched five Champions League goals in six appearances and after the first round of last-16 fixtures, he’s still joint-first on the top scorer rankings.

Of course, Haaland’s impact at the Etihad cannot be underestimated. His record makes for outstanding viewing – much to the United faithful’s dismay.

Haaland vs Hojlund

Sky Sports pundit Stephen Warnock believes that while the Manchester City No.9 is a more complete striker overall, there is one aspect of Hojlund’s game that he beats his fellow Scandinavian at.

“You are judged on goals,” Warnock began on The Football Show. “Haaland is streets ahead, in terms of goals and the returning goals over the years. Hojlund is a different type of player, for me. I think his all-round game of holding the ball up is better than Haaland’s.”
