Man United plot double raid on Premier League club, deal could cost £160 million

Amadou Onana and Jarrad Branthwaite are two players that Manchester United are eager to sign from Everton.

Man United are preparing for their first major summer under new minority owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe, according to a TEAMtalk report.

The club has undergone significant transition since his arrival, and it is anticipated that this will be used to recruit the top young players available. The players Jarrad Branthwaite and Amadou Onana are two that the Red Devils could pursue.

Following his summer 2022 transfer to Everton, Onana has only become better. His outstanding performances have drawn a lot of attention from throughout Europe and helped him establish himself in the Belgian national squad.

Over the last 18 months, Branthwaite has been in incredible form. His excellent loan stint at PSV Eindhoven during the previous season has aided in his integration into the Everton starting lineup. Since the beginning of the season, the 21-year-old centre defender has established himself as a key member of the defense.

Many are taking notice of Branthwaite because of his enormous potential and reliable performances. One team that is eager to have the young English defender join their ranks is United. They suffered this season due to injuries, therefore they aim to strengthen their defense before the next one begins.

Tottenham and Real Madrid are also interested in signing the English defender and United are ready to be involved in a race with the two clubs for his signature.

Onana is also someone United are interested in signing. With Casemiro aging and Sofyan Amrabat unlikely to stay with the team beyond the summer, they want to add another young defensive midfield player to the mix, even though Kobbie Mainoo has undoubtedly showed a lot of potential.

The Belgian midfielder is attracting interest from Arsenal and Barcelona.

The Merseyside club has contracts with Onana and Branthwaite that expire in the summer of 2027. With more than three years remaining on their contract, Everton is in complete control.

Only £160 million will be the total price at which they will sell both of them. The Toffees value both those players at £80 million each.
