There was a big win for Adidas over the past week.

They have managed to grab Casemiro from Nike after a career-long association with the sports giant.

Casemiro was seen wearing Adidas Predators when Manchester United beat Aston Villa 2-1 at Villa Park on Sunday, as per the Daily Mail.

The Brazilian had been wearing Nike football boots since his professional debut, but now he is an ambassador for the Adidas Predators range.

In 2023, Casemiro’s team-mate Lisandro Martinez left Nike for Adidas.

Nike also said goodbye to agreement with Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane, Man City trio Jack Grealish, Mateo Kovacic and Manuel Akanji in the past 12 months.

Casemiro’s return comes at the right time for United

United missed Casemiro for a chunk of this season due to injuries. Now, he’s back, it comes as no surprise that our form has improved.

Erik ten Hag needs to ensure that the Brazil star stays fit in his new Adidas Predators.
