Manchester United loanee Facundo Pellistri put in a scintillating showing away to Barcelona last night.
The 22-year-old made his second consecutive start for Granada since joining the side on loan on January’s deadline day.
Against the reigning La Liga champions, Pellistri proved that he could step up to the occasion and registered two crucial goal contributions to aid his side’s 3-3 draw; he assisted Ricard Sanchez in the 43rd minute before finding the back of the net himself in the 60th, notching his maiden goal for the club.
His heroics marked an impressive feat, too, as he became the second-youngest player to score and assist in an away league clash with Barcelona – the first being Samuel Eto’o in 2000.

It remains to be seen if there is a future for the Uruguayan international at Old Trafford beyond the summer as prior to his loan, he had featured for just 366 minutes under Erik ten Hag, however, fans will be pleased to see that he’s enjoying a consistent run of first-team football.
